Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They can be used for things like remembering a preference you've set, keeping you signed in, or (on many sites) tracking how you use the site for analytics or advertising.
What we actually use
This site uses two categories of cookies and similar local storage:
- Necessary (contact form security). The contact form uses hCaptcha to verify you're human and block spam. hCaptcha sets cookies and uses local storage on your device whenever the contact form is loaded, so it can run its check. This is necessary for the form to work, so it isn't covered by the "Necessary only" / "Accept all" choice below, and it only runs on pages where the contact form appears. See hCaptcha's Privacy Policy for what it sets and how long it's kept.
- Analytics (optional). We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used: which pages get visited, roughly how, and from where, so we can improve it. Clarity also records session activity (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) to help us see how the site is actually used, without capturing information you type into the contact form. Together they set cookies including
_ga,_ga_G717W3NBMS(up to 2 years),_clckandCLID(up to 12 months), and_clsk(24 hours). Neither runs unless you accept in the cookie banner. Choosing "Necessary only" keeps both off entirely.
We do not run advertising or third-party marketing cookies. We do not sell or share analytics data with third parties beyond Google's and Microsoft's standard processing of it on our behalf. See Google's Privacy Policy and Microsoft's Privacy Statement for how they handle it.
Third-party services
Beyond the cookies above, this site loads or sends data to a small number of third parties:
- Google Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Font requests may be visible to Google as the request is made, but we don't use them to set tracking cookies or identify you.
- hCaptcha. Loads a verification widget from hcaptcha.com when the contact form is displayed. See the necessary cookie entry above.
- Web3Forms. When you submit the contact form, what you typed is sent from your browser directly to Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which forwards it to us by email. This only happens if you submit the form, and it's necessary for the form to work. See our Privacy Policy for more on how Web3Forms and hCaptcha handle your information, including data retention and international processing.
Controlling cookies
You can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer, or by adjusting your browser's cookie and site-data settings directly. Choosing "Necessary only" (or blocking cookies in your browser) means Google Analytics never loads on your visit.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if the cookies we use change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
